Several branches, several domains

The change that made Fridgedoor fit a business with more than one front door.

This is the period Fridgedoor became the product it is now described as.

Before it, an account was effectively one mailbox and the person who owned it. That works for a single garage. It does not describe a business with four branches, where the people answering are on shift rather than assigned a mailbox, and where each branch may send from its own domain.

Access moved to roles, an account gained the ability to hold several sending domains, and a domain could be set up during registration rather than as a later chore. Everything the marketing site now says about branches sharing one queue starts here.

Replies also began finding their way back to the right conversation reliably, which is the other half of the same idea: a shared queue is only shared if a reply lands where the rest of the thread already is.

new

  • One account can hold several sending domains, and access is set by role rather than by mailbox.
  • A sending domain can be set up during registration rather than afterwards.

improved

  • Replies find their way back to the right conversation in the inbox.

fixed

  • Search across reminders and email returned the wrong results on larger accounts.
  • The sender name on an email run, role selection, template image upload, and the password reset page.

Talk to us

See it against your own reminder volume.

Tell us your branches, your channels, and roughly how many customers come due each month. If it is not a fit, we will say so.

  • A mapped plan for your locations, domains and templates
  • A written quote covering seats, SMS volume and sending domains
  • An account set up with your own templates before anyone logs in
