A stranger's email becomes a thread

Mail from someone not yet on your list stops being a dead end.

Fridgedoor was built around a conversation you start: a reminder goes out, the customer answers, the answer becomes a thread. That left an obvious gap. A customer who simply emails you — because they found the address on your website, or because they are replying to something a year old — had nowhere to land.

They land in the queue now. An email from an address with no existing conversation opens an enquiry of its own, and it sits in the same list, with the same states and the same transfer-between-branches behaviour as everything else. Nobody has to watch a second mailbox.

### Search that does not slow down

Inbox search was reading far more than it needed to on every query, and the cost grew with the size of your template library rather than with the number of messages. Accounts with a large library felt it most. It now reads what the search actually needs.

### One correctness fix

An email that arrived for one organisation could be moved to another. It cannot now — mail stays with the organisation it was addressed to.
